Lisa Richter, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, FASHP is the Director of Experiential Outreach and Assessment, an Associate Professor of Practice and Co-Director of Recruitment at North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo, ND. Her responsibilities at NDSU include preceptor orientation and development, experiential site quality assurance, assessment and student recruitment. Dr. Richter precepts students on an academic elective APPE rotation and teaches in multiple courses in the P3 didactic curiculum. Dr. Richter received her PharmD from NDSU and completed a PGY1 residency at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. She previously worked in a variety of areas including acute care, critical care and antimicrobial stewardship. She was the PGY1 Residency Program Director at Sanford Medical Center Fargo for seven years precepting 24 residents and over 100 APPE students. Dr. Richter was awarded the NDSU Phi Lambda Sigma Alumni of the Year Award for 2018 and the ND Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, Pharmacist of the Year Award in 2015. She is a former ND Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists President and is a current American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists Development of the Educational Workforce Section Advisory Group member. Dr. Richter also practices at Essentia Health in Fargo.
