Dr. Rebecca Cope, PharmD, MPH, BCACP is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at The Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Long Island University (LIU Pharmacy) in Brooklyn, NY. She obtained her PharmD degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY. Her post-graduate training includes a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at The Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, a PGY-2 residency in Underserved Care and Global Health at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA, and obtaining a Master in Public Health degree from Long Island University. She is certified by New York State to practice collaborative drug therapy management and maintains a clinical practice as a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at The Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to her academic and clinical roles at LIU Pharmacy, Dr. Cope serves as the Assistant Director for the Office of International Affairs where she provides administrative support for pharmacy students participating in international rotations and related College initiatives. Her research focuses on the pharmacists’ role as the medication expert in ambulatory care settings, both in the United States and abroad.
