Erin E Pauling, PharmD, BCACP is the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ambulatory Care at Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS) in Johnson City, NY. Pauling has served as co-coordinator of a Self-Care/Nonprescription Medication course for five years. She is community pharmacy and ambulatory care residency-trained and practices as an ambulatory care pharmacist, providing management of anticoagulation, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension in cardiology and primary care settings, with the Southern Tier's largest healthcare provider, United Health Services (UHS).
Pauling is actively involved with the American Pharmacists Association, currently serving on the Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management Education Standing Committee and as a co-advisor of the student chapter at Binghamton SOPPS. She is also on the editorial board of Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning (CPTL) and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the Rho Chi Society. Her professional interests include anticoagulation, diabetes, interprofessional education, the Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process (PPCP), and the social determinants of health.
