Dr. Jane Shtaynberg received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University. Following graduation, she spent several years practicing in various community settings across NY and NJ, as well as hospital practice in NY, until making a transition to academia as Director of Experiential Education at Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Science at Long Island University. After 11 years of service she accepted a position as Assistant Dean of Experiential Education at Fairleigh Dickinson School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she currently oversees the experiential program and is involved in various other areas related to curricular development and assessment. Her recent focus has been on implementation and continual monitoring of entrustable professional activities (EPAs). She also teaches in the program’s beyond the curriculum course where she concentrates on helping students develop their professional identity and build skills for success in experiential learning and beyond.
