Christina H. Sherrill, PharmD, BCACP, BC-ADM, CPP is Assistant Professor of Ambulatory Care in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Director of the Clinical Skills Laboratory at the High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy. Dr. Sherrill graduated from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed a postgraduate residency with an emphasis in primary care at the Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Sherrill served as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Western New England University College of Pharmacy in Springfield, Massachusetts prior to joining the faculty at High Point University.
Dr. Sherrill teaches in various courses related to ambulatory care and diabetes management, and her clinical practice primarily includes the chronic outpatient management of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and anticoagulation. Her research is focused on diabetes management with an emphasis on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dr. Sherrill has conducted both clinical and educational research regarding CGM and has received extramural grant funding for multiple projects. Her clinical research has described pharmacist implementation of CGM technology in the ambulatory care setting, and her scholarship of teaching and learning focuses on hands-on CGM pedagogy for students and practicing pharmacists.
