Alexis N. Crawford, PharmD, BCCCP, BCPS, is an Assistant Professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy and is the course co-coordinator for Pharmaceutical Calculations. In collaboration with the co-coordinator, she worked to restructure and develop new content for a modular-based, intentionally online calculation course. She has PGY1/PGY2 critical care training and worked as a critical care specialist directly applying acute care calculations for seven years prior to transitioning to academia. She focused on development of the acute care content for the calculations course and sought to incorporate practical concepts in an intentionally online structure.
