Jennifer Santee, PharmD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) School of Pharmacy. Her practice site is at University Health (UH) – Lakewood. She is a member of UH’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and UH’s LGBTQ Business Resource Group. She is the chair of UMKC School of Pharmacy’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the chair of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Health Disparities and Cultural Competency Special Interest Group. She has served as the chair and secretary for the UMKC LGBTQIA Affinity Group Executive Committee and the Health Science District Diversity and Inclusion Council. She is currently the faculty advisor for UMKC’s Student National Pharmaceutical Association chapter. Dr. Santee has published articles on implicit bias and coverage of diversity, equity, and inclusion content in pharmacy curricula. She led UMKC School of Pharmacy in developing a program that was awarded the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation Scholarship Supporting Innovation and Diversity in Pharmacy Education in 2020. Jennifer was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Diversity in 2016.
