Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences Director

Lindsey Welch, Pharm.D., BCPS is a Senior Public Service Associate in the Division of Experience Programs at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy where she serves as the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Director. She received her Pharm.D. from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Columbus Regional Healthcare System located in Columbus, GA. In May 2010, Dr. Welch joined the faculty as the third year Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) coordinator and moved into the APPE Director role in 2013.
Dr. Welch has authored/co-authored over 30 publications and presentations in the area of EE, including being an invited speaker at state, regional, and national levels. She served as the EE Section Secretary of Knowledge Management from 2019-2021 and has represented EE in multiple ACPE-facilitated invitational conferences. Dr. Welch is an active member and past Chair of the Southeastern Pharmacy Experiential Education Consortium (SPEEC), a six member-school organization. She is involved in the Georgia Pharmacy Association (GPhA) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Pharmacy Foundation (GPhF).
