Dr. Julie Kalabalik-Hoganson PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, MPH is Professor and Chair of Pharmacy Practice at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences In New Jersey. Dr. Kalabalik-Hoganson received her PharmD from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2008 and completed a PGY1 residency at Valley Hospital and a PGY2 residency in Critical Care at New York Methodist Hospital. Dr. Kalabalik-Hoganson completed her Master in Public Health at Fairleigh Dickinson University in May 2021. She joined FDU School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2013. Dr. Kalabalik-Hoganson serves as Department Chair of Pharmacy Practice and as a faculty and student mentor. She coordinates and teaches courses in self care, dermatology, evidence-based medicine, clinical toxicology, clinical problem solving, and critical care. Dr. Kalabalik-Hoganson served as the Director of the Public Policy Council for the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists and is a current member of the Council. She is involved in advocacy efforts related to health system pharmacy in New Jersey. Dr. Kalabalik-Hoganson is the social media editor for Annals of Pharmacotherapy. She is a registered pharmacist in New Jersey and has dual board certification in pharmacotherapy and critical care. Dr. Kalabalik-Hoganson is Chair-Elect of the AACP Public Health SIG and Chair of the Emergency Preparedness Committee within the SIG.
