Cait Gibson, PharmD, MEd, BCPS, BCCP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Gibson earned her PharmD from the University of Texas at Austin and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Gibson joined the VCU team in August 2021. Prior, she was Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Pharmacotherapy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. Her professional interests include health disparities and cultural competency education, interprofessional education, co-curriculum, and self-authorship theory.
