Margarita DiVall, PharmD, MEd, BCPS is a Clinical Professor at the School of Pharmacy and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her PharmD and MEd degrees from Northeastern University and completed her pharmacy practice residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
Dr. DiVall currently teaches in a variety of courses for pharmacy and health profession students. Her expertise in curricular design and assessment and passion for interprofessional education have spurred a number of scholarly projects, which led to peer reviewed publications and presentations. In her current leadership role at Bouvé, she oversees all faculty related matters, including professional development and mentoring. In her previous leadership role she oversaw assessment and accreditation at the School of Pharmacy for nearly a decade.
She provides significant professional service to American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and has been a very engaged member of the Council of Faculties (Chair-Elect Designate) and Assessment Special Interest Group. Her previous leadership roles within COF include serving as the Chair of the Quorum Committee (2010-11), Co-Chair of the Taskforce on Consortia and Collaborations (2013-14), Secretary (2015-2017), and Chair of the Faculty Affairs Committee (2018-19). She has also served on the Institutional Research and Assessment Committee (Chair), COF/COD Joint Taskforce on Mentorship, Academic Affair Committee, Assessment SIG Executive Committee, Assessment SIG Research and Scholarship Committee (Co-Chair), Assessment SIG Chair, and AJPE editorial Board.
