Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Troy Lynn Lewis, PharmD, BC-ADM is an assistant professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wilkes University’s Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. She joined the Department of Pharmacy Practice after completing pharmacy practice residency training in the ambulatory care setting at Carolinas HealthCare System- Northeast in Concord North Carolina. Her clinical practice site is at The Wright Center for Primary Care Mid Valley in Jermyn, Pennsylvania where she practices as an ambulatory care pharmacist. Her professional and educational interests include diabetes management in which she is board certified, anticoagulation, heart failure, and hypertension, while practicing patient-centered care and keeping social determinants of health at the forefront of her treatment strategies. Dr. Lewis’s most current research initiatives are focused on integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into the pharmacy curricula where she has presented state-wide and nationally on these topics. She is on the University Council on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity (CODIE) and has helped to form the first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Taskforce at her school of pharmacy.
